Cambrian Fuel Card Services link up with the Help for Heroes Charity
The Help for Heroes Charity is in the news at the moment helping members of the armed forces who have been wounded and who are in need of rehabilitation. It was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry in October 2007 out of their desire to help the wounded Service personnel who were returning from the battlefields in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Help for Heroes raises money which goes to support members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country. They ask that everyone does their bit by donating to this worthy cause and over a million people have responded helping to raise millions of pounds!
Cambrian Fuel Card Services have decided to support this worthy charity by being the official fuel sponsor of the HELP FOR HEROES EUROPEAN 4x4 RALLY 2010. This follows the path and tells the story of the Allied Invasion through Europe. The rally starts at Noon on Saturday 19th June 2010 in North Wiltshire. It covers 1650 miles and 45 teams go through 6 countries in 10 days. All the money raised by the teams will be donated to the Help for Heroes campaign.
So far the campaign has raised nearly £3000 and they haven’t even set off yet so the figure is climbing. Please make a donation to this worthy cause by visiting http://www.justgiving.com/h4hrally2010. Every penny raised will help our armed forces personnel with their rehabilitation.
Darren Stockton, managing director of Cambrian Fuel Card Services said:
“We are delighted to be able to support the Help for Heroes charity in this rally. The work they do is second to none in helping our servicemen and women’s rehabilitation after the horrors they have been through. We only hope the rally is a massive success and raises lots of much need cash for them.”
